About Katie
I am a qualified and fully accredited Child and Adolescent Psychotherapeutic Counsellor (UKCP) based in Cambridge. I have experience supporting children and young people aged 4–19 in schools, sixth form colleges and charitable organisations. My approach is warm, child-centred and collaborative. I am passionate about creating safe, therapeutic spaces where children and young people feel heard, valued and understood.
Alongside my counselling practice, I bring 15 years of experience working in boarding schools in the UK and internationally as a teacher, boarding practitioner, Housemistress and Mental Health Lead. Through my research and professional experience, I have developed a particular interest in how boarding schools can integrate therapeutic approaches to strengthen pastoral care. I offer reflective practice and INSET for boarding staff to support wellbeing across school communities.
